Staff engagement

Engagement with staff is key to creating a ‘hospital of the future’ that enables new models of care, while maintaining the ‘community hospital’ feel that staff and the community are proud of.
Feedback from staff remains of key importance to the project, with many staff members completing a survey in the early planning phase to help shape key considerations for the new facility.

Hospital staff will also take part in Project User Groups, which provide input into the design of the hospital. These groups are made up of hospital management teams and staff, as well as patient and community representatives.

The project team aims to continue to provide the opportunity for staff to have their say as the project progresses. This might be via surveys, involvement in Project User Groups, project briefings or during one off workshops.
